Marilyn Brown Oden is the award-winning author of 12 books, including 3 novels. Her latest is The Santa Fe Secret (2018) which follows The Dead Saint (international intrigue) and Crested Butte (historical fiction). Her diverse experiences with people and places shape her life and therefore her writing. Living in Santa Fe helped paint the background for her new novel— music and dancing on the Plaza, Indian Market and Fiesta, cafes with balconies where people from all walks of life pass by, museums and world-class opera, magical sunsets and bright stars, and sometimes a moon in the morning over the mountains. Enwrapping it all is the ancient sense of mystery that took Marilyn on a journey that became The Santa Fe Secret. One of her earliest childhood memories is the dream to become an author. Many decades and a dozen books later, writing continues to bring her meaning and a sense of wholeness.
